A good quality phone with very good sound quality that feels solid to hold and use. The handset is packed full of features, the large display is clear and the buttons are large and not fiddly. It is very easy to set up. Intercom, baby monitor, recording conversations, answer phone etc. are all very good features and very user friendly. Connecting smartphones to the hub was very easy too - just a matter of downloading the App on to your mobile phone and link it to the hub by pressing a button. Mobile phones play nicely with this phone with good connectivity and surprisingly good sound quality (I tried iPhone 4s and 5). However connecting smartphones to the hub and keeping the App running in the background to pick up landlines is not as practical as you might think as it reduces the mobile's battery life significantly. I just connect when necessary now (I bought a couple of extra handsets instead). It's a bit pricey but a very good phone. Highly recommended.

...but in practice it's very poor. I've had a pair of these for a good year now, and so this review is from a long-time user's point of view. Firstly, sound quality is appalling. I'm continually having to ask people to repeat themselves, not a good thing when you're talking to customers. The Operating System is shocking. I've no idea what they use but it is SOOOOO slow, especially when trying to dial out of the phone book. Inputting numbers & names is even worse. Connecting to your hub is fairly straightforward, as is using the Panasonic app on, as I do, an iPhone, but the technology just isn't quite up to scratch. People say that I sound distant & echoey when I'm using the app, to such an extent that I no longer do so. All in all, I would most definitely not recommend this phone. Unfortunate, as I generally LOVE Panasonic tech.

Don't understand why some people are complaining about this phone I think it's a splendid bit of kit! Yes it's on the expensive side but very easy to set up with your smart phone (managed to transfer more than 50 numbers onto the phone). Very happy with it!

Somewhat apprehensive after reading mixed reviews, but the smartphone feature really appealed so decided ton risk it and relieved to say it works brilliantly. Highly recommend!

We decided to buy this phone for the Smartphone connect feature, which allows you to use your Smartphone to make/answer calls via your landline. This feature was easy to set-up and works well. The phone is excellent in all other respects too - handset has a nice feel to it like it has been well made and the base is very discreet. Menu system is also simple and is easy to use. Would recommend!
